REFLECTION

Waiting is a process that matures our faith. 

Just as a tree takes time to grow strong, our faith is strengthened through waiting. 

God uses waiting to shape our character.

For years, James had been praying for a promotion at his job. 

He worked hard, remained faithful, and watched as others—sometimes less qualified—were promoted ahead of him. 

Instead of giving up, James chose to trust God’s timing. 

He deepened his prayer life, studied the Word, and learned to find 

contentment in God rather than in his job title.

Then, unexpectedly, he was offered a higher position than he had ever imagined—one

 that came with greater influence and purpose.

PRAYER

Lord, help me to embrace the process of waiting. 

Use this season to strengthen my faith and build my character.

 Amen.
