REFLECTION

A stairway allows people to move between levels. 

Jesus, the stairway, first came down to find us. 

His mission was to rescue the lost and bring them into God’s presence. 

We don’t climb up to God-Jesus came down to us. 

Jesus descended so that we might ascend to the Father.

How does Jesus’ mission impact your understanding of salvation?
